March 2026, Jesus House Ocala will be sending a mission team of 12 to the Dominican Republic to partner with The Batey Project, an organization dedicated to bringing hope, protection, and restoration to vulnerable communities—especially in the rescue and care of girls impacted by human trafficking. This mission is rooted in our heart to be the hands and feet of Jesus, bringing light into dark places through love, advocacy, and practical support.

Dominican Republic Mission Trip - March 2026!

Our team will serve alongside trusted local leaders, supporting ongoing efforts that protect young girls, strengthen families, and create pathways toward freedom and healing.

To make this mission possible, we will be receiving donations of both funds and essential items to cover travel costs and directly support the work of The Batey Project on the ground and in the homes of these young girls. Every gift—large or small—plays a vital role in advancing this life-giving work and investing in the future of these precious girls. We invite you to prayerfully consider partnering with us as we go together to see lives restored and God’s love made known in powerful, tangible ways.

Support the mission

We are believing God for $14,400 to send a team of 12 people on this mission. Your prayers and financial support will help make it possible for each team member to go and serve, bringing hope, help, and the love of Jesus to those we are called to reach.

Dominican Republic Mission Trip 2024

Our Jesus House missions team joined the Diamond Project and traveled to the Dominican Republic in September 2024. We went to share the love of Jesus and stand up for those whose voices have been silenced. The team ministered to the world's most vulnerable children and young people, fighting against human trafficking, exploitation, and extreme poverty. Jesus loves, values, and desires all children to be protected and come to Him. We prayed for financial support and God answered through you. We raised $5,300 to send our team of four and sent over 100 pounds of donated items that had been requested to support children and young women escape human trafficking.

Often we think of human trafficking as kidnapping. So our team was shocked to learn that many of these women had been trafficked from and abused in their own homes, where they should be safe.

Thank you for partnering with us to make a difference in the lives of children and young people in the Dominican Republic. You can watch our recap video and testimonies of our team. Together, we can spread the gospel and bring the love of Jesus to those in need.
